Today is my friend Matthew's Birthday (I won't say how old he is =))

Matthew is one of the nicest people I know , he knows everyone, never meets a stranger, and is always in a good mood!!

We all hope he has a GREAT birthday!!

After Party

After the birthday party (see below), Me, Ryan, Matt, & Liz were able to go out to eat and have some drinks for the FIRST time ever without the kids!! This is a rare event now since Porter ;)

We went to the Veranda and met some friends and watched the Penguins game (sadly they lost)!

A BIG Thanks to Nana and Mimi for staying in Starkville overnight to keep all the kiddos!

Birthday Party!!

Porter had a great birthday party!! He (and us) had so much fun, and he was TIRED when we got home! He got lots of great gifts and LOVED his second cake just as much as the first (see post below for the first cake)!

We had a pinata for the big kids (and jody =)) and Porter quickly grabbed TWO suckers after it busted! He knew EXACTLY what to do with it!!??!

Porter's actual birthday was on Thursday, so we let him open a gift (and card) from mommy and daddy and gave him a little cake to practice for the big day on Saturday!

Cousins

We were so LUCKY that Kensi & Erin were able to come all the way from Charlotte for the Birthday Party!!

We had a BLAST with them all weekend!! A 4 & 2 year old are the best babysitters for a one year old! Porter just followed them around all weekend =)

We can't wait to see them again in three weeks in Pittsburgh!
