Wow! I cannot believe 2008 is over!! It literally seems like last week we were ringing in 2008, and 2009 was hardly different! Porter was spending some time with Pop in Columbia, so Ryan and I were able to go out with some friends and ring in the new year ! Although we did make it to midnight, we both had second thoughts and really wanted to go home to bed at 11, but we hung in there and made it to the new year (but not a minute longer!)
We have been so busy with Christmas shopping (all in one day I might add), traveling (everywhere it seems), coming home (only to clean and take decorations down), and then traveling some more (well me anyway)! As I type this I'm home in Columbia and headed back to Starkville tomorrow, hopefully for some REST!! But not before a pile of sewing orders has to be done and a rambuncious 19 month old has to be entertained! Oh well, maybe rest will come in 2010 ;)
