Here's a sneak peek of Bennett's bedding! I decided to go ahead and put together the crib today, and go ahead and get the bedding on it! It is currently put together in Porter's room...since that's where she'll be :) We are keeping his twin bed, and dresser (that we used for a changing table for him, and will be used again for her--it's an antique dresser I had in college) that is in there currently, so I wanted to see how everything is going to fit! He will be moving to the other bedroom (that is currently the sewing room for about another week!) in a bigger (full size) bed! He never really got a "big boy" room--we moved him into a twin bed with some new bedding when he was 2, but that's about as far as I got! SO, he'll get a new "bigger boy" room while sissy is getting her "new" room :)
Porter helped me put the crib together, and is excited to think that she'll be sharing his room! ha! He even told me he wanted to sleep in her bed tonight--with her! So needless to say, he doesn't quite "get it"...yet!
It's not quite "done"...I've still got to figure out how I'm going to tie the "bows"...I originally wanted them longer, but they talked me out of it at the store :( I wish I would have gone longer because it's going to be hard to tie bows with the thick silk that is lined!!
And I don't have her a sheet yet!
I also wish I'd done the monogram a tiny big bigger...I went by the dimensions they gave me, but it seems smaller in the crib--and even smaller in this pic--it at least looks a little bigger in person!
The bumper also turned out to be about 1" too high...but again, I can live with it, and I really do LOVE the bedding!
I know we still have a long way until her room is "done" but I'm happy that her bed is together! I was begining to think that I would never have it painted and put together!

This is precious! Baby Callaway has nothing... I. MEAN. NOTHING. Not even a room or her own.We have been debating on adding on to the house or moving. Well, we are down to 7 1/2 weeks, I'm stressed and in the nesting phase. Hopefully we get the guest bedroom cleaned out, painted and some sort of bed in there for her before she gets here! Did I mention I'm a little stressed!!!
