Obviously football is a HUGE part of our life, and needless to say we had plenty to cheer for in 2011! Porter decided to become an Alabama fan (even though we live in LSU country)--and he was (still is) a very dedicated Bama fan--even wearing his Bama jersey to school (Thanks Jody) the two times this season they played LSU :)
And obviously he's a huge Saints fan too :) The season did not end like we wanted it (this season hurt a lot more than last!!) but we can't wait for next season! Porter attended almost every game with me, and we had so much fun cheering in the Dome each week.
The Super Bowl is tomorrow, but after going to and WINNING a Super Bowl (and thinking we were *so close* again this year) it's just not the same watching it on TV :(
When I went to look for all my "football" pictures, I realized they were all from my phone (oh well!) so here are some of our 2011 "highlights"!
**Oh and Porter does the "number 1" thing all on his own! Whenever he's wearing a jersey and I go to take his pic, he thinks he has to do that!
Porter got this Liberty Bowl MSU jersey when he was 8 months old (when we went to Liberty bowl game that year)--it's just now where it will "kind of" fit! It's still way too big, but he LOVES that it has his name on it!
We also found some Tracy Porter jerseys this year! Porter is his new favorite player! Whenever he sees #22 on the field, he says, "there I AM!!"
Showing me how "real football players" do it! This was the night they handed out the white towels at the gate--Porter immediately put both pair IN his pants so he could be "like the real football players--drew brees", or brew brees as Porter calls him !

Porter got a surprise in December, when Wesley sent him this Dabo Swinney signed Clemson ball! He was PUMPED about it!
