Porter-23 months!

This is usally the look I get when I try to take his picture nowadays--he's "too cool for that"
I cannot believe Porter is almost 2!! Where has the time gone? And where has my baby gone??

What he's up to these days:

• talking up a storm--he says new words daily and says some sentences (especially if you consider, "stop, mama!" and "no, mama!" sentences)
• no passy anymore--yay!!
• has good manners, and says please (peeaas) and thank you (taanks tu-in a really high pitched voice)
  
• will apologize if he does something wrong/bad/mean by saying "I sowwwy" over and over and over!
• loves animals (well except for my mom's dogs who he tortures)
• loves barney! we watch it every day (though I will say I do believe that's where "please" and "thank you" came from so I can't complain about it too much--at least he's learning something good!
• loves cheese grits in the morning!
• loves candy and goes crazy if he sees any--this is bad!!
• loves to play outside and to swing! he could do it all day
• throws temper tantrums like you would not belive (especially when he can't have candy--so pretty much all day everyday!)
• will pout with his bottom lip stuck far out if he doesn't get what he wants!
• still loves green blanket, but we dont' have to carry it around all day (thank goodness!) ironically when we took passy away, he became less interested in it!
• gives hugs and kisses
  
• likes to play at the park
• still loves to dance and act silly
• hates having his diaper changed and would rather just stay dirty!
• loves his shoes (and ours)
• can point to and say all of his body parts
• can tell you he's "twoooooo" now and is working on holding up two fingers--we thought we would teach him this a little early so he'll have it down by his birthday next month =)
• loves his daddy and gets so excited when he sees him (whether in person or on skype)
• still doesn't care for old people for some reason!
• likes to be around other kids
• and did I mention the child is obsessed with CANDY!
  
• at least he is also obsessed with brushing his "teeeeeeeeth" ;)
