new orleans day

Nana and Papa came down to go to New Orleans this weekend, and since Ryan was sick :( Porter and I decided to tag along at the last minute, so he could rest without us around...

First stop Central Grocery for mufaletta's (just like last year!)

all that was left of mine:

typically, Porter was not in the mood for pictures...

 

  

  

luckily for porter I accidently hit "coke" instead of "sprite" on the coke machine...

he didn't mind:

  

FLASHBACK: we actually even sat in the same seats as last year :) (and ate the same thing, of course!)

next stop: the river to see the water and boats--porter loved this part!

 

he got tired of picture taking real quick:

I guess that's what happens when you have two photographer's documenting your every move ;)

where we ran into the "baloon" man--this was by far Porter's favorite part of the day!!

He was so patient waiting his turn, I had an older couple come up to me and tell me how adorable and well-behaved he was :)  If you know Porter, you know he really wanted that balloon to act that good ;)

We had a great time, thanks for taking us Nana & Papa!!  And hopefully Ryan got some good rest while we were gone :)  This bug has made it's way through our entire house the past week and a half, so hopefully we'll be good for awhile!!
